These are the various projects I completed during my packaging class Fall 2019 (Prof Ian Koenig).
Chai Spice Tea Box
I was assigned to redesign a Chai Spice tea box. One of the most common complaints consumers have with tea is that they are unsure what different varieties taste like, so I decided to create a brand that equates flavors to different textiles. As Chai Spice is a blend with warming spices, I assigned it a cable knit texture and illustrated someone wearing a sweater for the front.

Willy Nilly Beer Bottle
This assignment was to design a bottle for the fictional brewing company Ballyhoo Beer Co.'s limited edition wild sour ale "Willy Nilly". I ended up using collage and newsprint in a colorful ransom note style to portray the unique, spontaneous, and temporary beer.

Copenhagen Coffee Shop Packaging System
The final assignment was to create a packaging system for a coffeeshop based in a randomly assigned city. I collaborated with Caroline Menin Bothelo Silva to create The Tinderbox, named after Copenhagen native Hans Christian Andersen's first published story. We used Andersen's paper cutout art as visual inspiration for the symbols that represent each roast of coffee.
